Dearest Parents,
It takes a special type of soul to take the loss of their child and turn it into giving back to other parents with children with health challenges. Though we may learn to live with it, the ache is always there; whether its coming around the corner and seeing your childs wheelchair or breathing machine or getting another terrible prognosis. Jerry and Nancy Hollenkamp not only honors Aubrey Rose with every family they help; they help fill the void by getting one less terrifying pressure off our backs....the accompanying medical bills and medical insurance. They are the type of people we try to raise our children to be.....and I aspire to be....every day. Thank you is not enough.
